This, I felt, was a futile and silly proposal that was passed. The entire purpose is to make a point about the occupation. The act of civil disobedience is a statement that is made. Getting arrested for this statement is the sacrifice that the protesters make for the movement. We shouldn’t be demanding that all curfews should now be eliminated.

Instead, the group should discuss vital and key stances. What are we for? What are we against? How will we accomplish our goals?

It’s NOT silly to do everything to activate people and to increase the public outcry on pig action.

It’s important to make it clear to people that while you understand the “costs” you don’t/aren’t complicit with your abuse.

Could you imagine if the Freedom Riders didn’t ask for the change to the segregation laws which lead to their arrest.

      Fight the Power.
